In 1966 Nancy Sinatra topped the charts for a month with the song ‘These boots are made for walking’ – and what a better introduction to this seasons cornucopia of footwear.
Wedges, platforms, kitten heels, lamb wool lining, zips, metals, and military style – anything seems possible this season. So why not jump to it – the perfect article of clothing that doesn’t care about your weight, shape or skin colour. Here are some of my favourites for this autumn/winter.

The aviator jacket/coat are NOT to be avoided this forthcoming autumn/winter – both cropped and hip length – some even say it’s the new trench coat!
Fierce shoulders, sky-high platform heels – all so last season! Instead, AW10 is sophisticated, simple, elegant and chic. Fashion has gone back to the basics of simple tailoring, and much of this has been featured in garments with strong outerwear detailing like the fur lined aviator style leather jackets.

Rasmus Wingårdh
Yesterday I was invited to lovely Stockholm to celebrate the second NN07 Project collection (designed by Rasmus Wingårdh) at the boutique hotel, Story. And indeed the hotel’s name echoed the theme for the evening – because if fashion isn’t about telling stories – what is?
With the title, ‘‘The Mustage Made Me Do It’, Rasmus presented an extremely nice and very thought through collection where nothing has been compromised. The designs are not ‘rocket science’ – as Rasmus said himself – but it’s nice, comfortable and yet with a twist – and the sort of styles that you would want to wear again and again and again!
The highlights were the smoking trousers with a linen stripe and the smoking jackets with linen lapels, the jeans with a chinos cut and the shirt with the ever so humoristic and memorable slogan; The Mustage Made Me Do It”.
Every single time I meet someone from the NN07 team, I’m fascinated and captivated by their passion for the brand and for what they are doing. Yesterdays story at Story was no exception and made me crave even more for the womenswear collection not hitting the stores until around this time next year.
Images will be uploaded later – watch this space!

Showing some leg has never been more fashionable than this forthcoming spring and summer – from hotpants to baggy bloomers, the tinnier, the more on-trend.
The short trend mirrors the revival of the feminine and leg-flashing tendencies. Designers such as; Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Prada, Fendi, Alexander Wang and Danielle Scutt, offered a colourful and versatile cavalcade of shorts in their collections. From the satin to the bubble shorts all create the desired impression when paired with the right silhouette.
The trend dubbed by UK Vogue as “hotpantaloons” are worn under blazers or slouchy tops for this season’s style chic. These bloomers take their inspiration from tap pants, which ruled this season’s runways.
